From December 1st 2009 to the 25th (like an Advent calendar) the city (through me) gave out Christmas gifts. These “gifts” waiting to be found were forgotten on public benches throughout Montreal . They were things you may have received for Christmas, only they were not the real thing. They were stuffed reproductions of those things. I was dying to know… Who would be curious/daring enough to open the found gift? Would they want to find out more about the giver? Would they be frustrated to find a stuffed reproduction of an object? Or would they be satisfied to just have found it? Would it have made their day?
You can see the gifts and follow some of their stories on the blog.
